Dear Valued Client,
We wish everyone a Happy, Healthy, Safe and Prosperous New Year! Tzinberg & Associates, P.C CONGRATULATIONS LESLIE!!!
Leslie and her husband, Nick, welcomed Peyton to 2011 on December 21! Leslie is on maternity leave, plans to be back at her desk in early February! We Are Giving Away an iPad!
Like 2011, this tax season will soon be history. Waiting until the last minute causes more stress for both us and our clients. This year get a head start…and you might win an iPad! All our clients that do the following: 1. Complete a 2011 Web Organizer (or at least complete the questionnaire in the Web Organizer), 2. upload tax documents online, 3. complete the above before March 1, 2012, and 4. accept online delivery (only) of income tax returns, will be entered in a drawing to win an iPad! Less stress AND a cool new toy? Can’t beat that! We want to ensure a smooth, worry-free, and paperless tax season, which is why we encourage our clients to get their documents together early — and to commumicate with us online. If you have questions, please email infor@tzinberg.com, or phone us at (618) 288-8989, (314) 880-0189, or (866) 492-2862. Thank you for your continued support. We look forward to serving you this tax season and throughout the year. Note: The winner of the iPad will be announced at the beginning of May 2012. While Tax Day typically falls on April 15, the IRS announced that it is pushing back this year's filing deadline to Tuesday, April 17. The extension was granted because April 15 falls on a Sunday this year, and Monday is Emancipation Day, a holiday in Washington D.C. that celebrates the freeing of slaves in the district. http://www.irs.gov/newsroom/article/0,,id=251825,00.html?portlet=108 New Credits for Hiring VeteransCongress recently passed legislation that extends and expands the Work Opportunity Credit (WOTC) for hiring unemployed veterans.
